Grammy 2020: Kompletní seznam výherců, nominovaných a toho, co se zde událo

Nejúspěšnějším nominovaným interpretem na Grammy Awards 2020 byla Billie Eilish, která posbírala všechny ceny v tzv. Grammy’s Big Four, tedy hlavních cen za nahrávku roku, album roku, píseň roku a objev roku (nového umělce roku). Její bratr Finneas O’Conell navíc vyhrál také ocenění producent roku.

Osmnáctiletá popová hvězda shromáždila všechny hlavní čtyři trofeje večera, vyzvedla. Její debutové album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? získalo ocenění album roku, Billie Eilish se stala objevem roku a píseň roku a zároveň také nahrávku roku vyhrál singl „Bad Guy“.

Eilish byla nominována celkem na sedm cen a vyhrála šest z nich. Před hlavní částí předávání cen vyhrála také ceny za nejlepší popové vokální album a nejlepší produkci alba v oblasti jiné než klasické hudby. Mezitím její bratr, herec a producent Finneas získal cenu za producenta roku (v oblasti jiné než klasické hudby).

Vyhráli také Tyler, the Creator, Lil Nas X, Tool, ale i Černobyl

S několika cenami se vrátila domů také zpěvačka Lizzo. Cenu obdržela za nejlepší popový sólový výkon (píseň „Truth Hurts“), nejlepší R&B výkon („Jerome“) a nejlepší současné album v kategorii Urban Music (Cuz I Love You). Mezi další vítěze patřili například Lil Nas X, Tyler, The Creator, Tool, Rosálía, Vampire Weekend a posmrtné výhry se dočkal také Nipsey Hussle.

Z vedlejších kategorií stojí za zmínku například výhra islandské skladatelky hudby pro veleúspěšný seriál HBO Černobyl Hildur Guðnadóttir, která si převzala cenu za nejlepší soundtrack k vizuálnímu dílu.

Diváci, kteří viděli předávání cen mohli sledovat vystoupení Billie Eilish, Ariany Grande, Lizzo, Aerosmith, kteří ale hráli bez bubeníka Joeyho Kramera, který má nyní spory s kapelou. Raper Lil Nas X vystupoval s některými umělci, kteří s ním spolupracovali na různých remixech jeho hitové singlu „Old Town Road“, včetně Dipla, Billyho Raye Cyruse a BTS.

Celý večer se nesl ve vzpomínkách na zesnulou basketbalovou legendu Kobeho Bryanta. I když byla zpráva o jeho úmrtí teprve čerstvá, zareagovalo na jeho úmrtí během předávání několik hostů (Alicia Keys, Lizzo nebo Lil Nas X), stejně tak pořadatelé stihli zareagovat a přizpůsobit program večera této události, kdy vložili mezi předávání cen pietu, kterou vedla moderátorka večera Alicia Keys.

  1. Proč mne vůbec nepřekvapuje,že Grammy 2020 vyhrala zelenovlasatá holčička v plášti??
    Takovou slataninu bez melodie a s podivným rytmusem,si určitě po shlednuti,nepustim.
    Refrém: jsem svině mě opravdu mepřesvědčil.
    Vyhrat měla dokonale emoční piseň od Lewise!
